re: Efton is a tiger

This roster went from below average to damn good in a short amount of time. WW

Adam Miller
Xavier Pinson
Eric Gaines

Seneca Knight
Brandon Murphy

Josh LeBlanc
Mwani Wilkinson
Alex Fudge

Tari Eason
Shareef O'Neal

Efton Reid
Jerrell Colbert
Bradley Ezewiro

Days might come back as well. We're full at 13 right now though.
From what I understand, Brandon, Fudge, and Colbert can really play. Sheesh! A possible 12 man rotation! Are you kidding me!

Hell with a rebuild. Wade RELOADS. He’s proven the ability to Masterfully adapt to the present landscape of college basketball and it shows.

Amazing how we currently return only 4 players, all of which were simply role players, and we end up with a roster that is better than a year ago. Impressive feat by any coach in any sport!

How does a 7 ft HD kid only average 16.
Or was IMG just that loaded

IMG literally has bench players get D1 scholarships. It is a powerhouse.

ONLY 16? That's pretty good considering the minutes are spread out on his team and the competition is other "sports High schools" as opposed to the 2A school whose tallest player is 6'4

South, can you give me your guessed depth chart for next season, with and without Days?

Why is it taking so long for days to Days to decide?

There is so much turnover (and maybe not done) that it is hard to really guess the starting line up.

I suspect Miller and Pinson were likely "promised" starters minutes to come here, so I would tab them as your likely backcourt.

Reid will likely start at Center.

The 3 and 4 spots will be where the competition lies. If Days comes back then he is a starter. If so, you might see Eason start along with him to add rebounding and defensive punch. If Days doesn't return, then it may be all about the style of play Wade wants. Eason still probably starts because he can rebound and defend. But do you want to pair him up with Leblanc for even more rebounding and defense? Or, do you insert Knight to give you essentially a 3 guard line up (with one being a 6'6 guard)?

Days has until July 7th to decide. With this being his last year to gain feedback, he may stay in there as long as possible to draw as much as he can. Really no reason for him to rush publicly announcing his return though Wade may already know his intentions. For random tidbits, I saw he was working out with Eric Gaines this weekend.

The only rush would be to allow LSU to complete its roster knowing his status for next season. But as long as Wade knows what is going on that is all that matters.

I don't think he's going to get a "draftable" grade regardless of how long he stays in the process. So it may just be a matter of how badly he wants to be a professional player IMMEDIATELY even if that isn't going to be in the NBA.

Before all of the roster turnover he looked like he was going to be one of, if not LSU's main scoring option had he stayed. Now, that may not the case. Miller and Pinson are coming here for the freedom to score. I suspect Wade has plans to use Reid in a Watford/Reath hybrid role as Reid is a good post scorer with passing ability. Days would probably still play his role, though it may be slightly enhanced as I doubt anyone will have the full green light Thomas enjoyed this past season.

Selfishly I'd love to see him back as I think he is the most underrated player of the Wade era. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him "stay in the draft" even if it is unlikely he will be drafted.

I really want Days to come back, so he gets a big ovation on senior night. He’s the last of the big four from that recruiting class that really helped turn this program around.

Days isn't getting drafted by an NBA team. Neither he nor Smart made the Top 100 draft list I saw the other day. Just a question of if he wants to play professional ball somewhere or not.

If he was dead set on playing pro I suspect he woulda hired an agent like Smart.

They also don’t play 40 minutes a game like most high schools, their players are there to learn, they get basketball scholarships, everybody on team plays meaningful minutes. Their practices are as good as the games.
