From 247:
quote:

As a senior at Klein Oak (Texas), McGlothern recorded four interceptions on the defensive side of the ball. On offense, he caught 66 passes for 1,307 yards and 18 touchdowns, averaging 19.8 yards per reception. He totaled 15 interceptions across his high school career and finished with 2,593 receiving yards and 34 touchdowns.

Dude is sick.
Amazing ball tracking and coverage skills are crazy good.
We are LOADED on defense!

According to Jimmy we only increased up our efforts for this kid after the ESD. He was a 5 star living in a LSU pipeline area who has been open about loving LSU. Why we we not on him? Makes zero sense.

Lsu has consistently taken last second guys who have made it to the NFL. At least you’re consistent with your shitty takes on everything

He has lots of talent just needs a good coaching staff to help him correct his attitude and put it all together. I really like this pick up.

The bayou tool is just alluding to the idea that he is a fallback after wrongly telling major burns to walk, which may very well be the case. That doesn’t mean McGlorthern doesn’t have a really high ceiling, but don’t let that stop some from being completely insufferable

Which takes are you refering to here? How Lsu sometimes uses guys that they know will commit as backup plans to go for bigger fish?

Seeing that KISD field brings back memories. Used to play there and basically grew up there watching football games

great pickup!

He was on his 3rd school in 3 years. Not getting into trouble or anything, just taking bad advice and let Deon talk him into playing at his shite private school last year.

Deon acts like he supports kids and loves them, but he’s the ultimate snake oils salesman, and really a piece of shite.

That's not at all how I read that, and I'm not sure how you interpreted it that way. He's saying this is a guy who was a five star (at one point) and was apparently high on LSU all along, and so he's wondering why LSU waited so late to go after him.

You took it in a whole different direction.

All he did was ask why we weren’t on the guy sooner. It’s a good question, and the answer is that we did not have him rated super high. There’s nothing wrong with the question, and you’re the one being insufferable by turning to insults when all a guy did was ask a question.

Honestly, none of us have any idea where the staff had this kid rated. You're speculating and presenting it as fact.

The combination of Dwight, Elias, and Derek is going to be incredibly formidable.

If we turned up the pressure after ESD, it makes the most sense to conclude that he is replacing Malcom Greene not M Burns.

We needed another safety to replace Malcom Greene, since he burned us just before ESD for Clemson. Dwight fits the mold of a S more than a CB, so perhaps we had him 1b behind Greene at 1A
