On Friday, Cox 4 broadcasted the Dutchown-Catholic game and the announcer said that Derrius Guice is the best running back in BR since Jeremy Hill. Do you agree with him or not?

It's not far fetched to say he is the best in the city in the last two years

Derrius is faster, stronger, and runs the ball harder than nic.

I really like Brossette but i'm a fanboy of Guice. He put's the opposing team on his back doe. He literally carries them to his victory lol.

He puts the opposing team on his back? Carries them to victory?

Sounds horrible.

while all of the above is true, Nick has more patience than Derrius. They have two different running styles, Nick is illusive while Derrius is power. I think that they are both good at what they do and i think that they are on an even keel. If i had to decide, i would take both. you simply cant go wrong

Jeremy Hill probably runs in the upper 4.4's. He really reminds me of Matt Forte.

I haven't seen enough of Derrius Guice to say anything other than he doesn't have nearly the top end speed Jeremy Hill does.

Both of these backs are monsters. I like watching brosette....patient, reads the field very well. He's hard to bring down.

Guice is wreckless.....he's a ton of fun to watch. He runs so damn hard. He's fast and tough.

The knock on brosette is speed, but he does such great work in the first 10 yards of a run that he gets to the open field more than any back I can remember.

Sure, I'll take both please.

I would honestly be surprised if at the nfl combine he breaks 4.6 honestly

Dude is so big I just don't see less than a 4.5

The reason I said what I did is because when J Hill hits the open field he rarely gets caught from behind. One defensive back from Auburn got the angle on him earlier this year on a long run. That DB was flying too. I think Jeremy Hill's speed will surprise at the combine.

A lot f people don't understand that 4.5 is flying. Hill is probably right at that mark.

I think he is the best RB from Baton Rouge since Hill, with Nick B right behind him. Dont know about the comparisons to Jeremy Hill though. Cant really think of a guy to compare Guice to at the moment, but hes a 5'11 200lbs RB that is extremely strong and fast and runs pissed off every play.

And jrevonte I agree with all of that. But, Guice is a good 15- 20lbs less than Nick B, yet is more powerful and faster than Nick. And if Nick is more illusive than Guice, its not by much. When i look at high school kids i think of the future and how good they could be at the next level in a few years. And both are going to be good college RBs. But I think Guice has that extra gear.

Both are extremely good and talented RBs with bright futures. We better land both of them. Would be a dynamic duo for us at LSU, to go along with Palelei and hopefully LF

Agreed. And he probably stays closer to it in pads than other players.
