There’s been a lot of buzz behind the scenes on Leigh for a while now. I’d say we have at least a 50/50 shot at him. Vol mentioned about 5 others recently that were in good shape for. Hilton popped today, Thomas, Ryan, Smith were the others.

The only thing about the Bama info is that its on rivals which is not near as good as 24/7. 2 of the three cb are by guys who have nothing to do with his recruitment(florida state and auburn I think) and the other is by an overconfident bama guy who is known to troll LSU in the past. Such as the Aranda to UNLV rumors a few months back. While yes it obviously shows that bama did make up some ground on LSU I wouldn't put too much stock into it as we haven't seen anything on 24/7.

One of those situations where the CB's are old and likely based on what they heard then and due to closer proximity. Wiltfong with the low level CB says something. Maason was wearing a Miami shirt yesterday(kinda strange) but his recruitment is rather quiet, he doesn't post too much anywhere and when he does it's usually cryptic. Not my favorite type of recruitment because then I can't figure anything out and when he does post something from another school its just not a good feelin. But I trust our guys and Vol so I don't worry too much.

Yeah I read all the info you linked and shared. I know the bama guy is a homer but figured there was probably something going on at least, didn’t think it was all smoke. We had just all kinda figured Thomas was headed here and then we hear about the Julio Jones call and then the Chrystal Ball to bama....

I don’t see us losing Smith, be very surprised to see O lose a dude from Houma that’s a DL. Listening to him in the radio the other day felt like he’s ours to lose.

Yea there was definitely a lil bit of biase. Right now Thomas is considered a slight to medium LSU lean from what ive heard.

I just wonder if he’s going to really have an effect on Foreman. The package shite never works out, I truly wonder if playing with Smith and Davis is a bigger draw than what some may think. Seems like lately it’s USC although he hasn’t hit to make a trip and that’s gonna be the kicker.

I definitely remember an article last month with Sage's father saying his commitment would be late June or early July. Well hey, its early July now and late June is gone. If you really want to have some fun, add Ryan, Smith, and Thomas to the class calculator then calculate the average. We are right there!!! Don't count Peyton Todd in the class average as 247 is not counting him in it right now.

Explayer, if that is true, then that would mean that we bump up to the #2 recruiting class in the nation....wouldn't that be a great reason to celebrate!

I think its USC, Georgia, then LSU. The only reason LSU is third is because he's never visited. If he visits then we make it interesting.

Just saw a YouTube video of Korey explaining his relationship with Maason. Says he will play where he feels comfortable and distance will have nothing to do with it. Check it out if you haven't already...

I’m feeling good about Smith/Foreman duo to LSU, especially with it dragging out to ESD. It’s easier for early enrollees to commit away from home and make their way to campus a week or two later, than to do so months in advance and have to hear it from the locals for months on end

Maason waiting makes me feel good about Foreman too
