Could Myles Brennan end up a 5 Star?

This kids numbers so far are insane.Friday night throwing 5 TD's against an Alabama powerhouse was huge. I have friends who are close to he and his family and he is all LSU.

On some sites, possibly.
On Rivals, he'll probably drop back to a 3-star, as he's not headed to Tuscaloosa.
I don't care much what our recruits are rated, as long as they perform once they're on campus. It's pretty fun to watch an unheralded 3-star like Mathieu blossom before our eyes. Brennan looks really good, could very well end up a 5-star.

It's not impossible, but it's about as likely as someone getting struck by lightning and winning the lottery on the same day. I think he ends up a composite 4 star by the end of the process.

I am very glad Myles will be a Tiger. Star rankings are okay, but are not an absolute factor in determining how good a high school recruit will perform in college.

It doesn't matter but: He will not be a 5 star recruit. I mean, anything is possible, but it's not happening.

No, he won't be rated even close. After all the kid has done in high school, and at Elite 11 events, he is still just a composite 3 star and 17th overall ranked pro style QB. There isn't much hope for him to crack even the top 10 of pro style QBs at this point.
They've picked their favorites and guys like Edwards-Helaire and Brennan will dominate in college and make them look like the biased idiots they are.

It's almost better if he's not a 5 star..
Out of the 20 or so 5 star Qbs since 2006, only Tebow and Jameis Winston won national championships.
Championships are won by 3 and 4 star Qbs..
And don't muddy my meaningless point with your "facts" and "numbers" suggesting that there is a much higher number of 3 and 4 star recruits.

I would have loved to have had Andrew luck, Stafford, Pryor, etc. Those guys would have won one at LSU.
Funny thing is Lsu has two of the 5 star qbs during that time.

Only Rivals and Scout have him as a 3 star which just shows how bad they have gotten but he just got invited to the Under Armour All American Game so I think it will be hard pressed for those two serives not to atleast have him as a high 4 star now.
