This recruiting story will be great to follow along the way, regardless of the outcome.

Yeah I check in every day to see if there has been an update. I'm a fan of Quad no matter where he goes. His recruiting is starting to have a snowball effect. Keeps getting bigger everyday!!!! Hope he is a tiger at the end.

same here. I'm pretty sure I will be keeping tabs on his college career no matter where he goes. Hope it is LSU. Thanks to the coach for giving us this inside story. It is a very interesting story to follow.

I will be rooting for Quad as well, but I really hope he comes to LSU. I've got a good feeling about him.

...Plus, when a good player clearly wants to be at LSU you don't have as much risk of him flipping.

Hey again, Coach. In your grand return post (epic, btw ), you mentioned Arkansas being close to pulling the trigger on Quad. This literally made me sick and I threw up in my mouth a little.

Not because I wouldn't be happy for quad to get an offer from a major school like Arkansas... but because of something I remembered thinking when you first responded to me with a link to updated highlights for Quad...

As I watched the video of him, in the passing game he definitely appears to get through his reads quickly and decisively, and has an absolute cannon for an arm. The very first thought I had, literally, was "damn, in the pocket this kid reminds me of a young version of Ryan Mallett." Tall, lean, strong, poised in the pocket, high football IQ...

And now you mention Arkansas... we didn't fare so well when they had Mallett under center.

I hope we get an offer out to Quad soon before someone else locks him up and he wrecks our shite for a few years in return.

This is just an FYI because this doesn't mean what I think you think it means. The Elite 11 is a national competition by invite only. They haven't started yet this year. Last year there were 13 regions and maybe, I don't know, 400-500 qbs invited and participated. It is an honor to be invited, and a great opportunity for Quad to learn, compete, and to show his abilities.

No better way to silence doubter, quash reservations, and marketing plan than competing- and winning.

I have no doubts Quad has been coached and informed on the significance of such things and I for one am looking for him to rise to the top.

If he doesn't expect instant gratification and keeps working:
- it will show!
- and they will see it!

True, I just hope we don’t put ourselves in a position where we are trying to get him to flip to us in the end....which I’m nervous will happen

correct, but i'd also keep him quiet and "undecided" (wink, wink) to have him be able to still take visits and recruit for us on the slick, while on other school's visits....

Then they better get on it. Bc when he gets to the elite 11 camp and excels like I know he will, the offers will start pouring in. It’s already started and they haven’t even posted his rating yet. Quad’s about to explode boys. It’s happening and it’s happening at a very fast rate.

Exactly. For once, thanks to Coach reaching out to LSU early in the process, we have the chance to be ahead of the competition on a "sleeper" prospect, if you will, rather than being behind the 8-ball. I really hope we don't slow play this too much.
