The Cajun and Polynesian cultures do have a lot of commonality. And, in each year, there are many top-quality Polynesian types that could bolster our Louisiana and Southern base.

Today's new commitment seems to indicate what I have speculated previously.

Can you see this base of Fehokoo, Ika and Fonua... allowing 1-3 high-level Polynesian recruits joining as Tigers in the upcoming recruiting cycles?

I do.

I love this strategy,if that is what Coach O is indeed doing.

Not this crap again.

Why should the credit just go to Aranda?

Doesn’t hurt that former Tiger great Mawae was literally picked for the Pro Football HOF yesterday

Genius idea...Bring Mawae to the LSU-Florida game to be recognized at Halftime, and let him and Papa Fehoko do a Haiki dance in front of the student section...

Yes. Gregarious personalities. Emotional temperaments. Warm/humid climates near water. Seasoned food. Family oriented.

Besides Cajuns having catastrophe syndrome which they didn't in the past, yes they are a lot alike. Family, food, tradition, life.

Polynesians are happy, optimistic, hard working, ancestry loving bunch of people who thrive on their culture and food.
