On 104.5 Tuesday morning, Coach Orgeron explained how LSU recruiting right now is “off the charts” that his staff was discussing over 40 players nationally who want to be part of LSU right now. Coach O explained how it’s really fun to recruit with the success LSU is having.

Coach O has stated numerous times in the past he will always take the best players available, so this year will be very interesting with so many top players wanting to sign with LSU. Geaux Tigers!

But what about the Zachary players? Shouldn't they all have offers?

The Chris Hilton kid next year is a 5* and they have several D-1 guys.

I’m all about trolling Truetigertale but he’s chilled out with that Zachary shite.

To the OP: We’re telling 4* Dlineman from 45 min away to look around because the #2 player in the country, from South Carolina, wants in.

That’s sick.

I was always under the impression that he was going to be moved to OL anyway

Like a kid in a candy store... this is literally O’s dream come true. And with Saban pulling stunts like he did this weekend, along with admitting he has only truly loved a handful of players...it’s going to hurt them in the big recruiting wars vs O.

I don’t think the CFB world quite understands what he is about to pull off.

Pretty damn cool isn't it? No offense to the kids that get left off, but there is no overstating right now that this team is a national brand.

I’m under the impression Coach O is leaning towards improving the defensive side more with this class.

Yes definitely. Offense wise we just need one of these QBs to step up and get a couple more OL.

All we need is an elite front seven. If our D can start getting to quarterbacks, and our offense doesn’t fall into a slump after burrow leaves, there will only be one team that can stop us on the regular season schedule.

You’re thinking of Cam Ron Jackson. Jalen Lee was never gonna play Oline.

Imagine if Frank Wilson gets added back to this recruiting staff...

Is this a possibility?

I would dump one of the QBs and use it on another highly ranked DL or OL.

we can get a better option at the QB position in the next cycle.

At the same time, it seems that there should be some strategy to keeping in state players to retain and strengthen relationships. It’s a fine line....

When December arrives LSU will be in the playoffs, Alabama will be out and Clemson will be ranked lower than LSU, everyone can see why Coach O is having fun recruiting. Signing four or five of the top Dlinemen, Olinemen, linebackers secondary, and three wide receivers, a 5 star runningback, a couple 5 star receivers and one or two QB’s.

Gonna get interesting this year . The cool thing is, aclineman or two can always switch to the offense if needed, ones rated really high, you gotta take them big baws. They don’t grow on trees.

A lot of in state guys have screwed us the last few years. Take the best players who want to come to LSU. Many of those will be in state guys but they aren’t getting guarantees anymore.

I bet anything that he's got an open invitation back from Coach O...especially if he loses his gig at UTSA. It would be marvelous.

Not me. QB is 5 times as important as any other position when you run a spread. What if the QB you dump turns out to be the next Burrow?

totally agree, but also, how bad are those top LA guys going to want to come when we are destroying people with a bunch of 5 stars... last time i checked Bama went 5 years straight of #1 RClasses because those guys wanted Championships.. our guys will want the same..
