Calvary Baptist vs Teurlings Catholic

Just for anyone who is a high school football fan....TC has Cole Kelly leading the offense and on the other side Calvary baptist secondary led by Greedy Williams (LSU commit), Chanse Sylvie (Oklahoma commit), Lee Lee Williams (Oklahoma State commit), and sophomore Tank Davis who I believe will be an LSU target pretty soon. He's 6'2 170 and last week had 2 pick sixs and 2 fumble recoverys. Kid is gonna be a beast. Should be a fun game to watch! Still not completely sold on Calvary's offense without Patterson but I guess we will find out.

You know us Baptist don't like being embarrassed & generally keep our vices behind closed doors. I bet they are literally craping themselves in Shreveport. It will be interesting when the play on ESPN if the broadcast crew puts them on blast. Kind of funny.

The game is Friday at TC. And LOL what he does is his business....from what I've heard it was from a while back and his wife and kids already knew an had forgiven him. Just took a leave of absence for Calvary's sake and since it was made public. He will remain Calvary's head coach....an I doubt the list is made known on the news or anything cause there are a lot more important people on that list than just high school football coaches. Anyways this thread is about this weeks game so if we can talk football would be nice thanks. Anyone else know of any big names playing in the game? I'm not familiar with TC except for Kelly

Obviously Patterson will be missed, but Calvary has a lot of good skill players on offense. They will be balanced and a little harder to defend because you don't have 1 player ( Shun Brown ) getting 80% of the receptions.

I agree it was unfortunate that his personal affairs were leaked in such a manner. However, forgiven by his family or not he was paying money to have multiple liasons. As far as importance, coaches have a tremendous role in the lives of students. It's a big deal at a public school at a private Christian based school it's a huge one. This is bigger than just carry on as usual and he will be back.

He was suspended for their scrimmage against Sam Houston. He started and played the whole Jamboree against S. Lafourche. He will definitely play against Calvary.
