It would not surprise me at the end to see him like Rak "keep it at the crib"

ETA: Of course I want him and Nuss but we just had a 5* WR from the DMC last season who magically “UA money was more than LSU $” signed with his home team of Maryland. I guess them beating Texas has paid dividends.

Maryland aspires to be Oregon East. Weird, flashy uniforms and money from a sports clothing empire. I think they are a real contender for his services.

“We’re definitely going to do one more trip to LSU,” Carl Williams said, adding the same group that went out to OU will be going down to Baton Rouge.

He left out the "p" in Clempson and I think it's Oklahoma University (hence, "OU") not University of Oklahoma. Just trying to help Caleb out.

He is the number 5 rated player in the 247 composite and he threw only for 19 touchdowns in 2019? Hmm...

Yeah, it’s really weird because you would think with OU on their helmets that they’d be Oklahoma University. But no, it’s University of Oklahoma.

I would love him in P&G but it wouldn't surprise me at all if he ends up there.

Yet his 247 Composite rating improved to number 5 nationally and he was elevated to the number 1 QB overall. Hmmm...

Many say you should look at who offers a player for a real idea of their potential:

Williams: Alabama, Clemson, Georgia, LSU, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Penn State, and others.

Nussmeier: Baylor, Georgia, LSU, Penn State, TCU,Texas, aTm and others

It appears the schools that have consistently produced Heisman winning and Heisman candidate QBs, that have made the CFP and have won CFP National Championships all have offered Williams. Bama, Clemson, Ohio State and Oklahoma have had 10 Heisman candidates at QB over the last few years. They obviously disagree with your assessment of Williams’ abilities as a QB. I trust their combined eye for QB talent over yours and those schools that have offered “Nuss”. They are proven and extremely successful evaluators of QB talent.

As for Nussmeier, LSU is the only team with a CFP appearance, a CFP National Championship and Heisman Winner. Jumbo Fisher did win a BCS National Title at FSU and had a Heisman winner. Georgia made the CFP. The rest are ho hum as relates to QB play.

So I guess RG3 and Vince young don’t count?

With respect to Caleb Williams committing to LSU, I think LSU has a very uphill battle on their hands. As once Brock Vandagriff de-committed from Oklahoma and then committed to UGA, Williams has been saying that Oklahoma has always been his dream school.

Indeed, it looks like Williams was going to settle for LSU, as opposed to Oklahoma because Vandagriff was already committed to Oklahoma. However, once Vandagriff de-committed from Oklahoma and committed to UGA, suddenly Williams' dream school became available again.

It's going to be exceedingly hard for LSU to pull him away from Oklahoma, as Oklahoma has always been William's dream school.
