BJ just received an offer this morning from LSU.

Wide receiver. However, he is an all around athlete. He is very physical. Could play several positions if he grows more

He was one the best freshman basketball players in the country this year. I think he will stay with basketball but I may be wrong.

Hate to bump but I am a Homer. He just got offer from Florida for basketball. LSU for football.

I really don't understand why these backyard kids are not talked about more on here.

Growing up in Walker, playing football in HS there, seen a few good players go through there that didn't get any attention from LSU or media. Offers to smaller schools but not much else. It's always been that way, even after 2 scholarship baseball players went to LSU and 2 scholarship football players. Brian Thomas Sr. was good enough to play basketball in the SEC, didn't get much interest from LSU. Maybe things will change now.

I am hoping so. Got five division 1 recruits on team now.

He'll probably get some love once we start looking to the 2020 class, but it's a bit early as of now.

Would need weight to confirm, but just looking at height and 40-time, I see anything from a QB or WR on offense to a S or OLB/Rush End on defense.
