I wouldn't slam the kid. He has standing offers from good schools. Why should his family spend money to camp at a school that may, or may not, offer him while he could use that money to visit/camp at schools that have offered, thus guaranteeing the money/time isn't being wasted?

Makes sense when you think about it.

There have been a bunch of schools passing through Parkway this week to watch him in person (A&M offered off of these). LSU may be one of them. If LSU likes him, they can give him at least a "non-committable" offer to lure him to camp. If they don't, then what will they see in camp that they don't see there?

He might as well visit places that are convinced.

it is more unusual to do what harris is doing. its not a slam dunk logical approach but it is his choice.

LSU can't get everybody in the state that wants to come to LSU, tough decisions have to be made and unfortunately feelings get hurt. LSU also recruits out of state as well. This is an exceptional year for LA recruiting. Some good LA players will be going out of state.

If there good enough to go to another SEC school, good for them and best of luck.

I guarantee there's a kid in Texas that feels the same way about A&M with a LA kid taking a schollie.

I would really hate to see harris not end up at LSU kid has potential I hope they can work something out
