Big Ed is the silent killer of this class. People forget about him, but he's a stud.

I went to STA in '97,'98. Looking back on the team then, I never would've thought they'd have a 5 star. Pretty cool!
Glad he's going to be a Tiger and part of a legendary DL group!

STA class of 11, I've gone back and seen him play several times. Especially for 2A he is a man amongst boys, and a really great kid. (my brother is on the team with him)

Dantzler too, flying under the radar but he's a huge talent. They've got a solid team

Jesus one Big Ed's legs probably weighs more than that whole kid he's about to crush

97' 98' was a time before stars and recruiting sites. However there was a player there of that caliber at that time.

He should sit out his freshman, sophomore and Jr year so he won't get hurt prior to the NFL draft!!

Damn sure is. When I went over his, Gary, Manuel, Oliver, and Lawrence's tape, I found him to be the most aggressive of the bunch. Love his power. Oliver was the fastest (man I want him at LSU), and Gary was a ridiculous combo of speed, size and power.

He has played nose and absolutely wears out high school centers. He was triple teamed all night last night and still was in the backfield almost every play. Very explosive off the ball. Could play anywhere on the dline. Best first step I've seen personally in 20 years of coaching and strong as a bull.
Oh and Dantzler is a football player. Highlight reel run last night l, doing it all year. Moo State is getting a steal.

Naa. He was not triple teamed all night last night. Doubled teamed a fair amount but was kept in check by #74 for Menard who was comparable in size to big Ed. Ed still had a great night but finally ran into a line with some size.
Cam had a great night too. He really won the game with that badass run to open the second half. It shifted the moral of the game even though STA was up. I'll be interested to see how he adapts to college football.
