DT marvin Wilson
DT phidarian Mathis
Rb cam akers and/or
Travis Etienne
Wr devonte smith
Lb k'lavon chaisson
Then Willie gay or Levi Jones
IF WE HAVE 27 AND CAN GET 7 OUT OF THIS 8 WE WILL B A TOP 3 CLASS FOR SURE EVEN IF WE ONLY GET 6 OF THEM ANY 6 LSU would have 300 POINTS on the CLASS calculater on 247

We have other linebackers that are lower rated than levi jones that are higher on LSU's board so you can go aheqd and remove his name.

I think we just have 6 spots left. It looks like we can only count one back to 2016.

I would go:

Marvin Wilson
Phidarian Mathis
Cam Akers
Devonta Smith
Etienne
Chaisson

Just noticed you have the same list. Must be the consensus then

If you don't have anything informative to say instead of a bunch of garbage you can run along.

maybe substitute Tyler Taylor or Willie Gay or Will Ignont for Etienne (if we get Akers). though I hate to leave him out. Maybe we take him as well and count on 1 non qualifier.

Jacob Philips may flip from Oklahoma (or so it's been said) so if that happens, substitute him for Etienne or Devonta Smith

so that would make:
Wilson
mathis
Akers
Chaisson
Philips
Smith/Etienne

Anything close to 300pts is exceptional and in many years will get a #1 ranking. OSU is signing a bunch of positional #1's which could lead to a really high overall number. It also looks like this year will have very strong classes at the top and a significant drop-off after ~10.

I'd like to see us sign more kids knowing that they will be contributors in their Jr & Sr years. Like the HS TE's playing at 240/250 but has the frame to get up over 300. We haven't recruited LT's and we haven't developed LT's. That's got to change and I believe it will.
