Yea he’s a big kid wisey. What happens to his athleticism after a 20lb or more weight gain tho?

He can already be an awesome slot at the size he is currently at.

I just kind of think of things from a professional football perspective & at that size to play TE, he is put in a extremely rare niche category.

I want him to come here. Either you can play or you can’t and this kid has it. His film is impressive against high level competition to say the least.

If only his Rivals size was right.. 6'3" 215.

Even so, so you don't have to be large to be a great TE in modern football. Jordan Reed and Delanie Walker are on the smaller side, but have seen success.

We could use him a lot like Shananhan uses Kyle Juszczyk. (assuming we actually get a decent play caller like Kyle.

His willingnesss to block, body control and hands make him with an offer. His work effect will make him successful at the next level.

I’d much rather him just stay at WR then try & be a TE.

Flex TE is basically a WR role mostly and what Gilbert is playing. Bech fits that role perfectly, he will play at 230-235 i bet easily. This is basically our 2nd TE pickup this class, as the MS kid is more an inline guy.

The plus part about Bech is hes way more a willing blocker than you find with Gilbert say right now which will help a lot in those short yardage run situations where Gilbert struggles with right now.

There's over a tenth of a second difference in 40 times between some of those guys.

I hope he commits. I saw him and Howard light it up against Catholic BR. I’m no pro scout but this kid looks legit to me athletically. Would love to know his vertical because he can sky. Great hands as well.

Right after you read my synopsis on Bech, and realize I was exactly right. And you’ve melted over this for months & here we are lol

Ah yes, let’s bring up all the exceptions..the walkons and kids who played in the MAC or K-State in college because that’s where their physical ability dictated they play For the record I like Bech I just don’t know that he’s an offensive player in the sec. Looks more like a Jacoby Stevens type player to me

Be sure that you mention that he’s white.

Moss was 6ft 1 7/8 at TE and he ended up being just fine. Irv Smith is another at 6ft 2”.

Thank goodness he’s a gamer. Attacks the ball in the air. He’d be really good in this offense

Thad Moss was small as frick for a TE. Hence why he didn’t get drafted.

Unless you are a Pro Style QB or G or C, you’ll get knocked a star for being white by most services. Beach and Langlois good examples.

JJ Watt was a 2 star .79 in 247 rankings.

I liked him last year but he was not as big and mature, and I didn't think we'd have room for him. I love him this year as a WR/TE that can block, and I didn't see how we could pass on offering him. He can be a lot of what Thad Moss was for us, maybe even more electric.

I love across all boards the talk of Bech ranges from "he reminds me of Brandon Stokley" to "he could be similar to Thad Moss".
