Man this kid has some game! Damn Will Wade continues to do work. If he didn't think this kid could play he wouldn't have offered. I'm in

His video looks good, but what can we expect from him?
Typical Walk-On who gets mop up minutes?
Potential earn a scholarship in the future?
Possible sleeper that could seriously contribute?

This for the immediate future. He's not getting minutes in front of our 4 guards (Smart, Waters, Mays, Edwards) or Taylor/Rachal either. It's just a really solid walk on add IMO.
These types of guys help the most in practice/scrimmages making them more competitive than having to put managers out there, unless one of those managers is Tasmin Mitchell
I dont think there's any real limit to number of walk ons you can carry so i hope we add another 1 or 2. Some teams carry like 6.

Of course . I figured any contribution on the court would be at best in years 3/4. I just don’t remember seeing much talk about preferred walk-ons in basketball . I was just curious if he was unique/rare.....

I'm going to guess his junior year, when they're going to lose Smart, Taylor and Waters all at the same time, is probably when he comes into his own.
He's a nice wing shooter. He'll be a zonebuster off the bench for sure.
Wade continues to impress. He finds talent even when it's not readily obvious to everybody (and he gets the obvious ones, too).
BTW, Billy Embody and Jerry Meyers both CB'd Parker Braun to LSU today, so that looks like the 12th scholarship. One more to go.

Braun has an arizona offer? I am guessing if he could put on 30 to 40 pounds he would be rated much higher?

Every great team has a white boy who can pop the 3's.
Just saying.

Apparently Braun grew about 3 inches since the last time he was measured. He’s now about 6’9 180 according to Billy Embody. Didn’t lose any athleticism or coordination either. That’s why he’s kind of blown up late.

Typical example of a HS player that has all the skill and basketball IQ in the world but lacks overall athletic ability. A couple years in the weight room and speed and agility training at the collegiate level and he could develop into a very good wing. If his athletic ability does improve it would not surprise me if he is an All SEC player in 2 or 3 years. It's a good move by Wade. I mean, he loses nothing by bringing the guy in as a walk-on and if he develops then you can give the scholarship.

Wanted to bump this thread. Will this kid be joining our team this coming year?

Are they signing a 5(Center), this year or going to play Williams and Watford down low.

Any ideas, who fill the last scolly spots?
