I’m so ready to not recruit only tiny arse SS and CFs.

Meanwhile half of the rest of the SEC have grown arse men.

That’s an understatement. We went from being the team in college baseball to being like the 4th best team in the sec west.

Are we allowed to make inferences about a new coach and his recruiting on this board? I’ve been attacked in another thread for doing so

Project got on you because you were whining on the recruiting board. (That thread isn’t meant to be cluttered up with back and forth opinions on potential hires) Do that on the rant.

Last night summarized where we are perfectly. We have been a baseball school for over 2 decades but a well known basketball school blanked us in round one. Change is needed.

This team really isn't small. Plenty of players with size and power.

What we need is a HC that is really enthused about recruiting.

TexasTiger88, Regrettably you’re an idiot. Your comment might have been valid a few years ago when the bats were dead and smallball was the only way to win, but LSU stopped recruiting that way when the balls were modified.

Our starting lineup (generally) is:

Millazzo
Morgan
Bianco
Doughty
Thompson
Crews
Gio
Dugas

Can you please list the ones that are too small for you?

The whole damn team sucks! They can’t get 2 hits back to back needless to say enough to put a cricked number on the board. And don’t get me stArted on the lack of arms in the outfield. Oh and let’s not forget that player who was told to find somewhere else because these coaches have zero ability to develop.

I think maybe you mean you’d rather players who didn’t have to rely on HRs to win.

Dugas, Doughty, and Crews all have running back thighs, Morgan is 6’1 and filled out, Beloso is 220, Bianco is 200+, Thompson is at least 6’.

Alex Bregman was only about 5’10-11, 180 lbs when he was here. Size is not the issue. If this team had the plate discipline of Gonzaga they would have 10 more wins on the year.

LSU has power, the players arent good enough to hit good pitching. Recruit. Better. Players. Not Bigger.

Wrong sport. Size isn't the issue in baseball. Lots of great players have been under 6 ft. But when your team BA ranks 116th and your coach then inserts guys with sub-200 BA including .096, well that might be a problem right there, bud.

bullshite

I was stating that I look forward to seeing the new coach develop the talent

That’s not whining. There’s no back on forth on potential hires in any of those posts

If you can’t discuss recruiting on the recruiting board where can it be discussed?

Some of you wanna be scouts are so ridiculous lmao

So again, let’s talk about what players currently signed will benefit the most from a new coach who knows how to develop talent.

Who are likely to be to the high impact guys ?

You seem to have some major fricking problem with the concept that we don’t actually have a new coach yet. You also seem to be fricking idiot that can’t just accept that there are other places to speculate on who the new coach will be.
