If I were an Okla. St. fan, I would not count my chickens before they hatch. A good friend of mine who lives in Okla. City saws Barry, Jr. is the "real deal," and believes OU has just a good a chance at this time, if not better, to land him. There's always a lot of pressure playing in your father's footsteps. It will be interesting to see how he progresses over the next few years.

The kid's already stated he only wants to play 2 years in college then he's going to focus on his studies.

He doesn't do much celebrating in the endzone either - just like his dad

I just looked it up and he plays 2A ball. So, it isn't like he is playing legit teams, but still those moves are sick.
Oklahoma is trying to pass a rule now, that any private school will have to play 2 classes above what they play now. If it passes, Heritage Hall would have to move up to 4A.

Anybody heard anything from Barry Sr. since he left football. Man just had enough and left queitly on his own terms (in his prime).

Gotta admire that.

Georgia had a similar rule to that where private schools had to count their students as 1.5 instead of 1. They did away with that last year and private schools have dominated almost every sport in A and AA. I think private schools should play in their own league.

Nice find!!!

I'm starting to think that our cloning capabilities are a little more advanced than we've been led to believe.

I imagine he's the beneficiary of his dad's talent through genetics as well as his wisdom. Nothing beats sound advice based on experience. If he's stated he's only planning on playing 2 years in college - he's extending his pro career by reducing early wear and tear...

I loved watching Barry Sr. - can't wait for Barry 2.0.
