Are we still trying to flip Pickens?

Does anybody know if Pickens is signing with Auburn during the early signing period? If he's not signing, will we still try to flip him?

Vol, if Hampton and Parker do sign in February, how do we prioritize the possibility of getting Lee, Sopsher x 2, Williams/ Young flip, and Pickens with only 4 spots?

My God, y’all really know a hell of a lot more than me about recruiting. Vol, do you personally know the kid or what? How else would you know what the hell he’s thinking?
Not doubting you because I’ve never even heard of the kid, but how can anyone have an inside scoop without personally knowing the guy or his family?

I know that if he had the grades he would have signed with LSU today. He did not. But to answer your question, no I have never held a conversation with this kid.

Before they kill you, I remember you're in highschool. It's a core grades gpa deal and a minimum ACT/SAT score. It's an NCAA div 1 reg but I don't know exactly what they are.

It’s not just grades. You have to qualify with the NCAA clearinghouse. You have to have a certain GPA in your “core courses” to qualify.

Ish and Young are both SDE IMO.
Bama had 3 SDE sign today.
If Ish does defect to Tide, I can’t see Young signing up to be SDE #5.
Might as well stop fielding a team if that happens.

a 2.3 GPA and a 900 SAT or 75 ACT sum score so an ACT composite of 18.

Vol, we all know what’s gonna happen if his grades get better. Two separate staffs in Alabama will be made aware and then all bets are off.

I know him quite personally and if he is straight grades wise and we have a spot I’d be surprised if he went to auburn
