Recruiting days are becoming more irrelevant... the actual or traditional signing days is. Kids and transfers aren't gonna wait around. They'll get in early to lock in a spot.

The transfer portal is big for teams that are rebuilding. High school classes are way more important for sustained success.

I understand it’s pretty common knowledge that LSU wasn’t signing anyone today. They are holding 6-7 spots until May.
