I believe that's what T-Bob is saying in the Huddle right now, but that format is so bad it's hard to follow.

The kid is a project but his potential is insane. Put him wherever he is best at.

He has the perfect size for it. If he wanted to play DE, he would need to trim 20 pounds. I’m not sure how fast he is. If he could lose 20 pounds and has good enough athletic ability I would move him to DE, just because Ika will be a monster in this class at nose.

I could see it, his presence on the line would be enormous

Would the staff tell him to trim about 20 pounds? Do you know if he has some edge speed?

Our ends aren’t necessarily speed rushers like a 4-3. That’s what the LBS do for us. We can have some size at de.

Any chance we feel good enough about Young and Pickering that we said "yeah, about that..."

Where do you get that this is coming from Aranda?

How is this anything other than a media person giving an opinion?

Thank you Vol! Why some of you guys believe everything on the net. Ish has said multiple times he doesn’t want to be a NT

Well if he’s said multiple times he doesn’t want to be a NT, then trim some weight and get in better shape

With Shelvin and Ika on the roster Sopsher wouldn't have to play nose unless there are injuries.

I think you should edit the subject for accuracy purposes.

"Media says Ish to play nose while LSU recruits him as a SDE and bama lies about everything under the sun."

DEs are more likely to be 300-310 than 270 in our system. Lawrence for example

So much irony.

So a huddle post from fooking Tbob equates to that’s what DA is asking of Ish?

And Livingston. We don't need more than 3 NTs. I wouldn't be surprised if we have a package that puts 3 DEs in like a longer passing down with Lawrence and Logan at DE and Fehoko at NT.

Sopsher is (or was) the #1 SDE in the nation for a reason. He would be a monster at 310 with the right motivation.

Having said that...I would be perfectly fine with signing Byron Young in that spot, which would free up Rodney's wasted scholarship for someone else.

I've said for months now that LSU will not be able to sign both Young and Sopsher and I stand by it.

Young > Sophser. Just my opinion.
