Ja’Marr Chase got his 5th star today from 247
He's their top rated player in the state now.

This class will be a top 10 class. If LSU lands the three 5 star players and a few 4 star players this class will be around number 5. Remarkable class. I expect this will happen.
Who are all these 5 star players besides Surtain. I though most dropped in ratings

Marshall is still a composite 5*. Cook, Rogers and Kelvin Joseph are all really high 4* on composite.

Terrace Marshall= 5 Stars
Patrick Surtain= 5 Stars
My bad. I thought Anthony Cook was a 5 star with 247. He is a 4 star with them and a 5 star with rivals. But I mainly look at 247.

Cook was a 5* until today.

Let's wait until we start getting these guys to commit then sign the papers before we start saying how great this class is going to be okay?

HS safety and will play inside at dime or Nickle for LSU and be a darn good one. Aranda had a 5'9 safety playing this year so it's not like its unheard of. Jackson isn't your typical LSU safety either but Aranda isn't your typical DC, LMAO.
This class should round out to be a typical LSU class. Let me ask you guys something. Greedy is a great corner right? But LSU would always prefer a Patrick Peterson right, but could LSU still create a dominant defense with a few Greedy type corners and the same with their DL guys?
Of course we would be fine. Well LSU might have a bunch of Greedy type of talents this year but then you add the 2017 guys, the guys we finish with, and the 2019 class and you still have a dominant team. Then I f they can gel, mature, fill the right voids, then you can build a championship team with blue chippers in the right spots but the right blue chippers mixed in with solid 2-5 year players.
It's about the team and how they all come together, not necessarily their ranking. LSU has and can get the talent a team needs in the right spots to be dominant. Would we all prefer a team full of Patrick Petersons, hell yeah, but you can't always get a team full of those guys so you do your homework, study the kid, bring them to camp, and get a feel for their resolve as a human being, then go get them.
I also think that if many of the lower tier guys don't sign in the early period, this will give the ok for LSU to continue recruiting better players, if they have better out there to get. If they say they are committed, then sign, if you don't sign, how committed are you?

Will finish top 10.
Not good enough considering the recruiting guru that Coach O is claimed to be. With Miles it was basically where in the top 5 were we going to be. I expect Coach O to do the same.
