Aaron Green has transferred to TCU and will have 3 years to play after sitting out this year. This isn't exactly LSU related but he has been discussed here in the past and should make the games with LSU in 2013 and 2014 a little more interesting so is worth at least a mention.

No, he is from San Antonio. I believe LSU offered him out of high school but he chose Nebraksa at least in part because his brother plays for Nebraska. Here, is his highlights from his Junior year for reference: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9Bg2GSogFXI

We will be losing about 6 starters on defense so that game should be interesting

LOL. Somehow I think LSU will be alright no matter how many graduate. I suspect there will be a number of NFL scouts at those games as well with all the talent that should be on the field. Either way, there will definitely be a lot of purple.

Hopefully he toughens up. He was pretty soft in game appearances for the Big Red

He will sit out a year so that may give him a chance to put on 5 more pounds or so. TCU should have some players to help with between the tackles so that may not be as big of an issue as it was at Nebraska. In addition, I am sure TCU will try to get him in space where he should perform better. But ultimately it will be up to him. I think he can do well if he stays humble and works hard. Those are the types that tend to do the best at TCU.

Lightning in a bottle. Kid would be perfect in the Spread Option.

TCU runs the spread option so it should be a good fit.

Should be fun to see what they come up with because they will have a number of offensive players with speed coming up with BJ Catalon, Ladarius Brown, Kolby Listenbee and now Aaron Green.

I hope this kid wins the Heisman at TCU.

Mostly because I took Aaron Green with my 2nd round pick in the TD recruit mock draft last year.

It's interesting because I took Lache Seastrunk with my first pick the year before and I took Rodney Coe who had to go to JUCO the same year. Looks like I'm bad luck for running back recruits.

Sorry Mario Pender!
