Prospects that are legitimately considering LSU:

Zach Evans - 5* RB
Marcus Dumervil - 4* OT
Crawford - 4* OT
Guillory - 4* DT
Harris - 4* WDE
Webb - 4* OLB
Greene/McGlotherin - 4* S/CB

Does not include:
Gilbert - 5* TE (who would just replace our existing TE commit)

1. It appears the staff is wanting 1 more S/CB with our recent attrition. I think this is a good move by our staff. Look at the official visit from last night. No need to host an official if you don’t plan on adding a S/CB.

Greene/McGlotherin

2. Obviously we try to add 1-2 OT’s + DT.

Dumervil + Guillory (possible Crawford).

That’s 2 more spots (possibly 3).

I want to remind everyone here that Crawford took an unofficial to A&M, THEN decommitted. Battle between the two programs (A&M and LSU).

3. We obviously add Evans if he wants in.

If he doesn’t, we probably don’t take a RB and add Harris/Webb. If he does, we have a problem.

What do we do with Webb, Harris, and the other OT?

Who decommits that’s currently committed? Gaye since he’s JUCO?

We’re not recruiting McGlothern and add Edgerrin Cooper

That’s not true.

It’s clear that Cooper is backup if we miss on Webb I think.

McGlotherin was at the game last night. He’s backup to Greene I think.

With tight numbers would they take Crawford who is a grade risk?

Coaches in Carthage will fix that... the legal/right way; there's time. They all want to see him starting in the SEC and know what needs to be done.

The thing I like the most about Crawford is that he didn't look like he was SEC-level OT a while back. Dude has improved tremendously, especially with his movement. The 'trend' of improvement is something that all coaches look at. That's how you avoid busts, not to mention get quality players.

Really? We have 2 CBs & 2 safeties committed. We brought in 4 CBs & 2 safeties last period. I would have thought we were good to go

We need the OT’s much, much more than anything else.

Kelvin Joseph and Kenan Joes left (or are leaving). Who knows how effective Todd Harris will be after injury. What if JaCoby goes pro.

Only player with any experience left is Lewis and Vincent.

Only 1 safety, they like Burns as a CB not safety

If this is true which it might be then why did they not go harder after Reed or the 2 or 3 safeties from Texas.

This just seems odd to me that several months later we start hearing about Greene.

I would prefer 2 OT's.

West Monroe coach said when Guillory turned it on he was unblockable. Any update on him?
