Several LSU players are pushing for him
He has 2 crystal ball2 to LSU,one by ON3 director of recruiting Chad Simmons, the other by Sam Spiegelman

He is from Baton Rouge and with the WRs LSU has sent to NFL why would he even consider any other school?

I don't think Oregon, FSU, or Michigan are real contenders
I don't really think TAMU has a big shot
Bama Is the only main competition
But everything suggests lsu lean

It’s called NIL. Read about it. It could turn Abe Lincoln against America.

Lock up Sampson and Miller and call it a day at WR

We only have 8 scholarship receivers right now and 3 of them are draft eligible.

IMHOO - in todays game - we should have 8+ that can possibly contribute if/when called on. Injury bug can cause issues.

And of the 8 we have right now, 6 will be gone over the next two drafts, possibly 3 off the 2 deep in Spring 2023.

If we only take 2 receivers in the 23 class, we will depend heavily on walkons and true freshmen in 2024.

Why do we need 10 WR's?

YOU said we should only take 2 in 2023. That means we would likely enter 2023 fall camp with 7 scholarship receivers, and we would lose 3 more of those after the final whistle in 2023.

Do you think it's smart to enter 2024 with only 4 veteran receivers, 2 of which likely spent their only season as backups?

He’s talked a lot about the aggies from what I hear.. can’t blame any kid these days for taking a hard look at places that give strong financial incentives

I don’t know how you can say this with the current state of transfers. We can’t keep the kids that play/start (Koy Moore), much less ones that don’t (Deion Smith didn’t start, but had a great freshman campaign and still tried to transfer). If you don’t have ten, you don’t have enough. Plus, there are way more guys catching passes than you realize. Yeah, JJ and Chase got the press, but Terrace had both of them beat before getting hurt and still played a vital role in the playoffs and Bama game. Other receivers had big games when JJ and Chase weren’t getting it done for whatever reason. Dillon was a big factor in the MS State game because Jets just couldn’t get consistent that day. Sullivan reeled in a few clutch plays that year even with Moss starting over him. It’s not as black and white as you believe if you dig down into it.

Watch the Spring game today and count how many of our collective group play. The others (including Boutte) are likely injured. Create an algorithm based upon that percentage and apply to future needs. While four may be the high number who catch the majority of passes, many more will be inserted in specific situations based upon their individual strengths.

Think about DBs in the same fashion. Nicked and hobbled players are a weakness to the overall effectiveness of a team.

Neither are on the football team.

Both may still be in school to get grades up to required level for transferring, but they ain’t playing football for the Tigers
