Don't care about top 5s, top 8s, top 10s.
He could put the 85 Bears in his top 5 if he wanted to!

This guy seems all Gator. Good for him.

You may not like the way LSU has recruited O-Line, you may think that all of OL are hot garbage, but we have numbers. We do not need more OL. You may argue that we need better rated OL recruits, and I could not argue with you. But to say we don't have enough OL ignores history. We have 14 OL, which is a normal level. I have always wanted 15 OL, but we don't usually get there. Compare that to DB where we have 13 and we play as many as 6 at a time.

Dont forget Landon Jackson. I think he'll get his 5th star back before this class is signed. Our DL haul this class has the chance to be historic.

That’s winning the lottery!

If anyone can pull it off it’s O!

Thinking they stick with Maason and hope for Foreman to travel away from USC

Some nasty OL ... Lots left on 210 offer list

Maybe I’m missing something, but only thing i recall about Carter was a crucial false start penalty as LSU was about to hit pay dirt in a bowl game. That’s scary like this guy... LINK

I don’t mind the talent level at oL. But

I prefer 16 linemen.

4 LT
3g
3c
3g
3 RT

When has LSU ever had 16 Scholarship OL?
I admit some years I don't pay as much attention. It must have been one of those years.
I truly do not remember seeing a 3 deep depth chart that did not have the same players in more than one position.
Most years there is only one backup Tackle and guard that will play when the game is in doubt. And that would be only in the case of injury.
Then again I think the NFL is insane for only dressing 7 or 8 OL for each game.
I remember one year when Auburn lost 3 or 4 Centers to injury. Ponder what our offense would look like with the 4th or 5th Center in the game.

I look at it as a development approach.

Look at Georgia. Mind you, we beat that tail in seccg. However, they have five stars oline for days.

It’s not about how many are dressing out for one game. It’s focusing on two things:

1. Injuries during the season To where you aren’t down to just ten OL by game 10.

2. Developing these players to where you don’t have to rely on 5 stars to come in and compete right away.Or Better said: getting them ready For next year while in line. ****

****. I know, duh. But having to rely on Kardell to start would have been a bad thing. Instead we had players who were juniors and sophomores that were ready to go. Kardell got injured anyway.

These players need time to get physically mature and get immersed in the offense/play book.

It’s really about development and yes, you can process some that aren’t making it better from 16 than 13.

Oline is too important to get thin at.

This really beckons the question that I hs e asked before, what is the proper par level for each position with 85 scholarships?

This is wrong. But you can play with this for a while.
