quote:

Since the addition of the new Texas staff, Stan Drayton has had the assistance of Louisiana-area recruiting guru Terry Joseph in the recruitment of TreVonte' Citizen, and it's made some noise for the four-star out of Lake Charles. As of now, Citizen has official visits scheduled to Texas, Texas A&M, USC and Arkansas. The Longhorns will have a shot in this recruitment and getting him on campus on the first weekend in June will play in their favor.

re: 4* RB Trevonte Citizen discussion
reading 24/7 seems like LSU is not as confident as they were. if he doesn't commit to the horns or aggies on a visit, I'll still like the tiger's chances.

Lmao Aggie/Horn battle eh?!?!? This kid is literally as much of a lock as Walker.

Every athlete in his family attended LSU and he’s as close to Faulk than any recruit in the class. If you had to list our uncommitted instate targets from most concerned to least, Trevonte would be at the very bottom of least concerned. He will be at LSU and most like commit well before NSD.

Oh I’m very aware of the staff not feeling confident as of late. I even posted a few days ago about citizen could be leaning more out of state then most people realize. Just pointing out Mike Roach just likes to talk out his arse at times hahaa!! He swore up and down that Matthews was a Texas lock.

If Faulk and O really want this kid, I have no doubt they'll land him.

Would like to see this guy be a Tiger. The question is how many RBs they take in this class and what would be the coaches' order of preference? Not going to be able to sign Citizen, Moss and Etienne.

I think we go Citizen and Moss out of the three. Just think we burned the bridge with the Etienne family

Isn't the #1 RB in the Country committed to the Horns?

I didn't know Joseph was at texas.

This makes me curious if we are pressing someone else for the 2nd RB spot?

Probably "bag man".

That's how Orgeron shot up the ranks.

Not saying that's a bad thing

I would have to think Citizen ends up as a Tiger in the end.

Citizen is a must get.

Can't let him go out of state.

Can play either side of the ball.

Beast potential at LB. Worked out pretty good for Devin White going that route.

Marlon Gunn JR from Scotlandville high school is on the radar as well. To me he is the 2nd or 3rd best running back in the state. He is a must get.

re: 4* RB Trevonte Citizen discussion
What concerns me about Citizen is the low level of competition he plays against
