Sounds like a smart kid. Can't wait to see what he can do on the field.

Emphasized academics and putting team first. Seems like a high character guy. Welcome aboard

Reminds me of another LSU tiger with great attitude that played that position.

he's got talent and seems to have a good head on his shoulders as well. he's gonna be a good player for this football team.

Leadership and class matter and is the reason that Zack Evans will waste his talent and fail while Kiner succeeds.

Nice hands. Looks like he’s not afraid to stick his nose in and take on a rusher. Great pick-up.

Love this kids game and his character. Going to be a great addition to the running back room and a big contributor throughout his career at LSU. Has that patented Clyde Edwards Helaire spin move and short area quickness.

Damn, this really endeared kiner to me. I’m usually the type of person that is all for talent over everything, but I gotta say it’s DAMN exciting to see how many genuinely great kids we’ve got so far in this 2021 class. Between this kid, raesjon, Garrett, and some of the others we’ve got, I’m not sure if I can remember the last time we’ve had this fantastic a mix of character and talent. When you have the type of standard that Joe and the receivers and everyone else set last year—where the team treats this like their job—and you combine that with elite character guys coming in, you have a chance for some truly special results. Stoked to have Corey join the class.

My favorite thing about his highlight video is that he lists his 3.23 GPA first and mentions no ACT yet. I don’t remember many of these kids mentioning academics, let alone first on their highlights.

Yea I believe I saw his GPA was 3.23 (edited just saw the post above with actual gpa). I like the grounded kids and he happens to be very talented at his position on top of it. This staff has been doing a great job in getting the high character kids. Go get em O.

Not only does his video look like Clyde but what is more impressive to me is that his attitude and humble style in the interview sounds like Clyde. I’m damn proud this young man chose and will be representing LSU. If you haven’t seen the announcement, see the link posted.
