Javon Baker is graded at over 93 and a solid 4* that’s competed at The Opening and is currently at the All American Bowl.

I could definetly get on board with this.

I have always thought that the wr number for this class should be 3.

Depending on numbers at other positions of course.

For example if Crawford and SVP both want in you take both.

Oh, is he being processed? I noticed that he doesn't have an offer from us (per 247).

He did camp this past summer but I don’t think we offer him. The kid is a good route runner with good hands.

Because that’s the only thing that makes a WR?

Jarvis Landry ran a 4.77

I agree, but SVP is not coming to LSU. He’s made that clear from the get go

Xzavier Henderson and Gary Bryant are the two highest rated WR's that still remain unsigned and both are high 4 stars and the #9 and #10 ranked WR's on 247. Henderson is from Miami where we have had good success in the past. Why not go after those two. Hope we are making inroads on some out of the blue type recruits as their aren't a whole lot of options left after early signing day.

Henderson is committing to UF in a couple of days after being a heavy Clemson lean most of the cycle
Bryant idk

Baker is essentially Koy Moore with a little more bulk and less speed. Good possession, slot type wr. Not sure he's a guy we target but he's pretty solid. Grades are the issue

The opening uses laser timing. Time starts on first movement like a hand twitch or head nod. This can be deceiving for the players recorded times. Unless you get a clean start you can easily be off by .20 on a forty time. The difference between 4.45 to 4.65. Football speed is football speed no matter the forty time.

Lean, square-shouldered build that should aid in putting on mass once he gets to the next level. Tests as a solid athlete at this juncture with short area burst being his best trait in that department. Is a strong-handed pass catcher who plays with a confidence when the ball is in the air. Is at his best in contested catch situations. Has excelled in camp and 7-on-7 settings over the course of his high school career as a result. Also is a strong route-runner at this stage and polished with his ability to get in and out of his breaks in a variety of concepts. Can improve his straight line speed and ability to separate vertically. Projects as a Power Five starter with the upside of developing into a NFL Draft selection.

Probably a little quicker than 4.7 but that's a guy that has a lot of upside potential.

yes you cant go by those high school camp times, they are always way slower than true 40ty time.

Jefferson is going to run no higher than 4.5 at the combine, probably runs a 4.45

He’s likely not a track guy, so some proper weight training could get that time down.
