Apparently LA is a joke because only 4 players in the state made the Top 247 (their rankings, not the composite).

Just for reference in previous years Louisiana had:
13 in the 2023 class
12 in the 2022 class
8 in 2021 class
10 in 2020 class
11 in 2019 class
...and 4 for 2024

Doesn't feel that the players are getting the respect they deserve? It seems like On3 is hiring all the analysts/scouts

Maybe its just me but I dont see him sticking around 247 for much longer. We all complain they dont scout louisiana very well and this is another case of that in plain sight. He always agrees. His inputs on LA seem to fall on deaf ears a lot.
On top of that, the guy has lost Shea, Billy and now Matt Brune today in rapid succession over the last year off the site. Matt was a replacement for Billy basically last year and he was working his arse off for sure as a youngin. He was great for his deeper dives in basketball especially.
Not to mention Spiegs as well not TOO long back. I hate to say it but 247 is kind of falling apart for me. With him as a national scout at on3, Louisiana gets so much better representation over there.

It does appear that on3 is going to overtake 247 rather rapidly at this point.

We all know Louisiana is full of talent. Doesn’t matter what 247 thinks, sucks for the kids though

247 has turned into ESPN recruiting. On3 is crushing the competition, they just need to add the Steve Wiltfong.

Hate to tell you all On3 has all the LA players ranked lower than 247.

LSU has had some outstanding talent in the last twenty years. That being said, I think the kids that are commiting to CBK's LSU are going to be developed to the best of their potential.
I would also guess that CBK and his staff are better talent evaluators.

If you look at other major talent states like Florida, Texas & California its clear they’re still quite a bit of players not ranked. Looks to me like they’re trying to play catch-up with the ‘24 recruiting class, JMO?
