The majority of the Elite 11 Finals roster is set with 16 quarterbacks from across the country earning invitations to the prestigious annual event. This year's Elite 11 Finals will take place June 30 through July 3 in Los Angeles.

The final regional event on this year's Elite 11 tour occurred Sunday in the Los Angeles metro area. St. John Bosco High School in Bellflower, Calif., hosted the Los Angeles regional, which resulted in the two latest invitations. A handful of spots remain to be filled in the coming week as the Elite 11 Finals loom at the end of the month/beginning of July.

At this point in the process, the 16 quarterbacks who have earned invitations to the Elite 11 Finals all rank in the top 55 QB prospects in the country on either the industry-generated 247Sports Composite or 247Sports rankings. More specifically, the top four quarterbacks on the 247Sports Composite, and six of the top seven, have solidified spots in the Elite 11 Finals. Additionally, nine of the top 12 on the Composite will head to Southern California in a few weeks to compete in the high-profile quarterback showcase.

On Walker Howard's Elite 11 Houston performance, which earned his invitation to the finals:

"Sunday presented less-than-ideal conditions and Howard still impressed. He threw with terrific touch when required -- not easy in that weather -- and his footwork was perhaps the most consistent of any of the quarterbacks, something that was not surprising. He entered Sunday's event considered as one of the more polished quarterbacks in the country for the 2022 class. That's exactly what he showed.

Like Weigman, Howard tested quite well, finishing fifth overall with a score of 88.68. He seems like a particularly high-floor quarterback whose consistency is evident in his outstanding interception rate from 2020: one in every 63.2 throws with a 42-5 TD-to-INT ratio."

Rankings: No. 20 overall, No. 2 QB

Rankings don’t mean shite. It’s cool to talk about in the off-season.

What’s most important from that article is that he’s one of the most polished QBs at the event with great feet and the ability to throw in inclement weather. The 42:5 TD to int rate is also big news for us. All huge positives. Can’t wait to see him in the purple and gold

Last year the Elite 11 was a complete and utter sham. I don't put any stock in that glorious non-event.

Is that the one where the OU QB looked like shite all week and they went ahead and gave him MVP anyway?

Starts today. Pumped to see how Walker competes.

Calling it now - regardless of how well Ewers actually performs, he will win it.

Does anyone know why 247 jumbled their positions on the offer list?

It used to start with qb, then be,we,te, etc.

Now it’s out of whack.

That event has been inconsistent with future performance for a long time. A few days in a camp setting don’t accurately predict anything. Most of the QB’s never panned out in college.

They could rank Walker last in this stupid thing, and I would still want him over the others. He’s our QB of the future. There is no doubt in my mind.

The Elite 11 Competition isn't a competition at all. Instead, it's a joke. As the winners and losers are already predetermined before the contestants arrive.

I’ve seen people saying the USC commit Devin Brown is the top guy right now. I didn’t even know that name before this weekend.

I know weigman won an event the other day.

He really does look good. His pocket movement is great and he has a strong arm

If that were the case then Quinn Ewers would win. He's 4th right now.
