Worth repeating. He doesn’t play football year round he’s been a 3 sport starter in 5a since his freshman year he is a stud

I watched his Hudl film and I liked what I saw a lot:

soph qb
throwing over the middle with precision
throwing deep
throwing sidelines
none of his runs were "dual threat" designed runs but he has a lot of running talent.
has room to put on 1-2" and 20 lbs and still maintain athleticism.

This year should be a blow up year for him if he does well.

I need to write that down. I live next to ZHS...

Kylin Jackson will also be in that game which is a LSU target at safety.

Jordan Matthews (‘23 DB with LSU offer) plays for Woodlawn as well. Should be a great game to watch.

That is a BRUTAL schedule for them. Goodness they must be confident.

I really like his touch on the intermediate and deep ball. However, his release is a tad slow and there’s not a ton of zip on that ball. That’s sophomore tape, though, and could improve in the future.

I also like that he is an LA kid. If Walker Howard is the star we think he could be, it will be advantageous to have an LA kid who hypothetically is more loyal to the program. He still could transfer out, but I feel like there’s a higher chance he sticks around if Howard is starter for a couple of years than an out of state kid would be.

I think he will get some bumps in ratings and I would expect him to be in the 23 class.

The great thing about 2023 is we don’t need instant impact. Take Collins and hope he is able to make impact in year 3. Meanwhile, go all in for Arch and hope for the best.

This may sound kinda strange but the only reason I see us loosing him is he becomes very high end 4 star/5 star type QB his Senior year. And viewed as near immediate starter in College. Even his and families love for LSU would get vigorously tested if all the big boys come courting and Walker Howard, is Walker Howard. I remember roughly a month ago telling you guys that Peetz is “very intrigued” with him as QB. I think he will be our 23 QB. Although I may get laughed out of here, in reality, we have fighting chance with Manning. Those chances increase even more if the Manning family perceive Peetz scheme 1 that Arch could thrive in. Let’s stop with the ABSOLUTE NO CHANCE bit, at least until we get any such signals from the Manning family.

I just don't see arch coming to lsu.

The manning family will be worried about the offense. I don't think they trust o. Look what he did after joe brady left.

They are going to want an offensive head coach like sark or a great head coach that they trust.

Say peetz delivers the best offense in the nation, i still think they would be worried about him leaving and o not being able to replace him.

I believe rickie collins will be lsu's qb next yr.

The fact that Woodlawn of all places has a 4 star quarterback may be the most surprising thing ever

We can all relate to your thinking. I’m just getting the vibe that family of course gonna show and explain all the top suitors, but when push comes to shove, they will Actually let Arch go, where Arch really wants to go. In that scenario , we have a fighting chance. Not because he has friends and teammates coming to you, but LSU is his childhood favorite team, he has reportedly attended several LSU games yearly. Just a gut feeling, and I know LSU gonna give its best shot. All I am saying is there are logical reasons to at least be highly considered. I understand the Walker Howard deterrent angle too, but there will be high end competition at any major college.

Yeah, I'm not byying the friends angle either.

I don't think howard would deter him either.

It all comes down to the offense and will that offense stay the same, imo.

What are you seeing? That kid has unreal natural arm talent. He does have a baseball stride, but Peetz should be able to clean that up.
