He's an interesting kid. He has someone handling his recruitment who was complaining saying he wouldn't camp at OSU and OSU should offer him without camping. OSU didn't offer and he camped. OSU still didn't offer.

OSU TEs don't catch a lot of balls, and this kid wants to catch the ball. He is apparently not a big fan of blocking based on what OSU people have said

I'm pretty sure this is the reason he didn't get the in-state offer yet. If he proves he can block this season and is a complete TE he will probably blow up even more than he has.

I think this is a pretty fair assessment for a high school tight end. The majority of them are giant WRs and don’t spend much time blocking. Few love doing it.

(looking at you Mac Markway)

I’m really not sure how much more he can “blow up”. 247 currently has him ranked as the 4th best TE in the class and top recruit in OH.

This is one kid I’m really hoping we can nail down. He’s got a good head on his shoulders, he’s at a position of dire need, he’s athletic, and he’ll recruit for us. One of the few recruits I follow on Twitter, but I think he’d be great in P&G.

Trey'Dez Green is one I am looking for in this class. 6'7" 240 lbs, 5*, 25 miles from LSU...

247 has him listed as a WR! We cannot afford to lose this guy. He might wind up as Basketball recruit.

This is what TE's are turning into at all levels of football. The Dolphins just put the franchise tag on a TE that lined up either wide or in the slot 80% of the time. Basically, good pass catching TE's only need to have the size to be a marginally effective blocker from the traditional TE alignment.

No offers from Bama, UGA, Clemson, Iowa PSU or Wisky (who are tight end producers) and no offer from the #1 school in state.

If a kid was a highly ranked kid in Louisiana and didn't have an LSU offer, people would say something is going on

Good point but i still love this kid as a receiver.

He is just so natural catching the ball.

Maybe Ohio State just didn’t show him the love and he had his sights on those who recruited him the hardest ?

I wouldn’t call Bama, UGA, and Clemson “TE producers”

Oh I agree I was more saying a lot of the other elite national programs haven't offered him.

I think he's a very good player and feel OSU should offer him

Have you seen Trey’Dez Green’s offers?

For me blowing up means previously having a low ranking and/or very few D1 offers.
