Now to the quoted comment. It really wouldn’t matter if his dad is an ex NFL player playing for the Vikings and that’s why he lived there. I do get what you’re saying here but those things are simply bonus material when it comes to evaluating this guy. That’s the cherry on top. Which makes him a no brainer pick up.

if his dad was a scientist at nasa and mom was a clothing designer who both were originally from Minnesota and produced a son who plays with the ability Jaxon Howard plays with, he’s still good enough to play at LSU. So I don’t understand some peoples comments about his birth place? I don’t give a damn if they’re from Maine, Minnesota, North Dakota, Montana, Canada or Cairo Egypt and lived inside of the pyramid of Giza or from Alaska and lived in a damn igloo. If he’s talented, he’s talented and we want him at LSU.

LSU will never recruit like ND, it’s not possible, so the people saying these things are plainly ignorant. Had we kept a bunch of local guys on staff then our class would look completely different. That being said, so far I’m impressed with this staff and their ability to communicate a clear message about LSU and their brand of football they’re bringing here. I actually hope that they recruit more players like ND had and mix those players with the athletes Louisiana, Texas, Mississippi, Alabama, Georgia, Florida, the Carolina’s, Tennessee and Missouri can produce. That would make a killer combination imo. So bring on some of those ND players lol.
