Based on what I’ve read, I think they really want to add a second RB.

Who is the 4th CB besides the top 3 in-state prospects?

ETA: I’m seeing Penn at 87.5%. Maybe someone switched a pick after the OP updated the thread?

There is a 5* composite OT from VA that had a very positive interview the other day LINK / and our trusted source on this board feels positive about him becoming a Tiger as well LINK

Most of you all follow much closer than me - do we have a shot at Tyleik Williams? His 247 CBs seem to point to the Hokies - but I noticed he was tagged in several of the social media posts by Tristan Leigh and Naquan Brown. I know I'm probably reading too much into all that (because teenagers) - but was curious if we're on his radar.

247

Sorry if he was already discussed here and I overlooked it

With 15 committed and 4 100% CBs. Let’s see what we have on offense and defense and what we need with 6 spots.

OFFENSE. Good at QB, RB, WR TE: take 1 OL: take 2

DEFENSE. Good at DL, LB, S. CB: take 2 more 1 for any highly rated prospect. What y’all think?

We can take 26...so the 5 spots you identified brings us to 24. It seems like we save a spot for Foreman and it looks like the staff wants to take another RB

We have 11 spots left to fill. Here's my take:

RB - Hargrove
WR - Thomas
TE - One of Fidone, Trigg or Taylor
OL - Leigh and two more out of maybe Byrd, Cade, Pennington, Pounds, Benny
DT - Smith
LB - Penn, Kollie
CB - One of Johnson or Wiggins
CB/S - Ryan
S - Gilbert

That's 12. so right now, it's one too many. Maybe we only take one more LB. Maybe we don't take another RB. Or maybe someone currently committed decommits. Also, if Foreman wants aboard, he gets a spot. Might be tough to manage the remaining spots, but a nice challenge to have.

Guillory and Smith on the same D line will be a sight to behold. Absolute monsters.

Tristan Leigh (OL)
Dietrick Pennington (OL)
Diego Pounds (OL)
Brian Thomas Jr. (WR)
Thomas Fidone (TE)
Maason Smith (DL)
Sage Ryan (S)
Corey Collier (S)
Nathaniel Wiggins (CB)
Jason Marshall or Nyland Green or Isaiah Johnson (CB) or Prince Kollie (LB) or a 2nd RB or a surprise 5 star recruit.

That’s a fantastic finish right there and highly likely.

Those are my last 10 as well and I specifically picked Green but obviously could be any of those 3 you listed.

So you think we will fill all 26 spots with this class without leaving room for a transfer option?

Definitely gonna be some numbers issues if things go anywhere near the plan.

Spots we know are there
Thomas
Fidone/Trigg
Leigh
At least 1 interior OL
Smith
1 CB
Ryan
1 S
Foreman

That's 9 if all work out leaving 1 spot. Still have

2nd RB
4th OL
Kollie
2nd CB

Definitely workable but there may be some tough decisions on takes and who, if anyone, gets dropped or decommits. The LB board is puzzling as is WDE. Too many variables with position fits and who we really want and don't. Good problem to have I suppose.
