Duhhhh, Burrow didn't look like Burrow, 100% because of the offense we run....

The old offense, was CRINGE WORTHY, seriously, anytime he would THROW A PASS we would cringe, as if it were drawn up in the huddle...

Burrow, should've won the Job at OSU... Blessings to us, that he didn't!!!!!

PS: Miles Brennan will EFFING KILL IT NEXT YEAR!!!!

Yeah getting Nussmeier OR Williams would set LSU up for success for a long time. Both are fantastic - just different skill sets

Yeah, no. Burrow has developed quite a bit regardless of the offense being run.

So Rivals has him as a 4* Pro Style and 247 has him as a 5* Dual Threat.

I always lean toward 247 anyway, but that kind of confirm that Rivals is trash?

Ok, his Hudl highlights are unreal. Next level stuff.

But these rare LSU camp clips are walk-on worthy.

5 out of 13

4 out of 8

They don’t even look like the same prospect. What gives?

I think you're right. I think that is a mislabel. Of course, I could be totally wrong.

Yeah, not sure why someone with a 4.5 40 would be labeled as a Pro Style QB

Bet the over on both. After that ghetto trash shite last year I expect to run it up on them. O’s gonna try and embarrass A&M.

I can certainly hope that the Staff and Tigers are still as petty and pissed as I am from that BS game (and post-game).

I was about to post where are the guys who prefer to pass on 5 star QBs. And here you are. Please explain why you prefer the Texas QB? The number 17 QB over the number 4 QB. A 6’ 1.5” 171 lb QB over a 6’ 1” 201 lb QB. The 179th player over the 16th ranked player. The 12th ranked pro over the 1st ranked DT.

Just for fun comparison of # 12 Pro vs #1 DT the last few years:

#12 Pro

Garrett Nussmeier
Parker McQuarrie
Paul Tyson
Matthew Baldwin
Chase Garners
Jake Bentley
Dwayne Lawson
KJ Carta-Samuels
Kohl Stewart

#1 DT

Caleb Williams
Bryce Young (Rising up the chart with a bullet)
Bo Nix
Justin Fields
Tua Tagovailoa
Jarrett Guarantano
Kyler Murray
Deshaun Watson

I guess you preferring to shop from the first list is not surprising on here. There were many who didn’t want most of the guys on the second list as QBs for LSU. Maybe you explaining why will help me understand that mentality. Otherwise. Come on man!

Edit to add:

Nussmeier: 218 Atts, 122 Cmp, 56%, 1557 yds, 13 Yd Avg, 12 TD, 5 Int
Williams: 246 Atts, 137 Cmp, 56%, 2624 Yds, 19 Yd Avg, 26 TD, 7 Int

Even the best players have bad days man. Michael Jordan shot plenty of airballs that no one would ever remember or end up concerning themselves with. Champ Baily has been burned by wideouts. Tom Brady has thrown interceptions for defensive touchdowns

Shite happens man.

Just FYI, Nuss is throwing at 67% completion rate this season. Also 247 is expecting to give him a considerable bump because of his improvement.

I got the QB numbers from 247. I will check both QB’s stats elsewhere to verify. How do you know what 247 is expecting to do concerning “Nuss”? I used where both QBs are rated as of today’s date, not on some speculation favoring “Nuss”. Caleb currently is a 5 star, the 16th rated player, # 1 DT QB and #4 overall QB, so he doesn’t have room for a “considerable bump””, whatever you mean by that. He is already considered elite. Yet for some, I assume including you, that is not good enough because it is speculated that “Nuss” is due a “considerable bump”. What is a considerable bump from 147? 100? 15?

Read my post, I never said one was better than the other. It’s been posted multiple times by all the Mods on 247 that Nuss is sitting at 67% for his junior year so far and has improved so much that he will be bumped up. Your numbers are from his sophomore season.

Because I’m actually a member, and it’s posted by a 247 mod in a current thread. Nothing against Caleb, I really hope we land him. I’m just giving you FACTS on Nuss.

Thanks. I thought you were justifying those who for some strange reason prefer Nuss over Williams. a clearly better QB prospect.

Where did you find Nuss current completion percentage? Can you find Williams’ as well?

Honestly I’ve tried to research both through max preps and I can’t find anything. I’m just relaying what’s being told to us on 247.
