He doesn't have great measurables, but there seems to be a lot of excitement that he would pick us. Please inform me as to why he is worth one of the limited spots?

Eric Martin. Kid can play.

He may be the most polished route runner in the entire 2020 class. This is what they said about Jefferson and he has turned out to be very good for us.

If he commits to LSU he would be the 3rd best route runner in our class. Go watch Jarrett and Burton’s film/camp highlights. They’re both much better WR prospects from everything I’ve seen. I like Koy but not sure where they’re going to make room in this class considering the bigger need for OL

Strongly disagree that he’s the most polished route runner in this class. Watch the film of him from the LSU camp. All the tools are there and he is a solid pickup but pump the brakes on polished

Even though numbers are tight, I think we should take 4 WR’s this class based on the new offense we are running. Chase, Marshall, and Jenkins are the only receivers left from the 18 class. Palmer and Lee are the only signees from 19.

Man I hope he goes to Alabama

I wasn't high on him until I watched his highlights. Kid has elite hands and concentration. He's super shifty in the open field and tends to make the first guy miss. He runs good routes and uses that shiftiness to fake defenders and get open.
The only knock is that he doesn't have elite top-end speed. But, I think he would be the gem in some of our previous classes.

247 ranked him as #72 yet he has offers from the likes of Florida and Georgia?
There's something wrong here.

Did you know that there are hundreds of thousands of young men playing high school football? Many of them play different positions, too.

The chance that you know what a good route looks like is about 1.5%

The typical response from someone who can’t provide evidence to go against my statement. I’ve probably forgotten more football than you know Lester but I’m not here to get into a pissing match with you. Koy is a good player, but he’s not as good as Burton or Jarrett. That’s not an insult to Koy, but it’s what I think after watching their film. He’s a good WR but I don’t think you can honestly say he’s better than the other 2 we have.
Rakim Jarrett
Jermaine Burton

And Dwayne Thomas was ranked 30 spots ahead of Jalen Mills and had better looking film now what’s your point?
Also Dwayne was a great leader and player but be honest was he better than Mills? Hell no!

My original point was that I thought Koy would be the 3rd best WR if he committed. I’m not judging him based on rankings like half this board does with every player. In fact, I think Koy’s probably a better prospect than Boutte right now because of how raw Boutte is.
Look, if he commits tomorrow I’ll be pumped LSU got another good WR in the class. My only concern is that we’re limited on spots and think a 4th WR is less important than quality OL like Dumervil and Van Pran.

I doubt either of those guys’ spots will be taken by koy
If they want in room will be made
