Anyone have issues before?
After research it mentions the drain hose could be frozen and reason for leak. Its a slow leak and freezes a layer that I eventually remove every few days.

where would a drain hose drain to?

The drain hose drains to a pan on the bottom from which the water will evaporate. Sometimes this hose can freeze and sometimes it can become clogged. I have had both occur. Pull the fridge out and you will be able to see the pan and hose in the back at the bottom. Make sure the hose is not clogged. That is the easy part. If it is freezing you will have to take apart the interior cabinet and find where it is freezing. If it is the drain hole then you can take a piece of wire, wrap it around the heating element that keeps your frost build up down and stick the other end of the wire in to the drain hole. This should melt the ice in the hole when the defrost cycle comes on.

I’ve had this issue with my whirlpool in the past. There is a rubber tip that is frozen/dirty. Everything drains into a pan by an exhaust fan. you might have to drill a little hole or remove that tip altogether. make sure you do a thorough job or you’ll have to do it again in a few weeks.

There is a replacement part for that rubber nipple. It's very cheap and whirlpool will send you one for free. They recalled that part. I had the same problem with it.
hopefully, the OP doesn't have to take apart the whole damn thing and get the hair dryer.

Thanks all for the information.

It drains to a little catch basin in the back of the refrigerator in front of the fan that blows the air cross and dries it up
