My child decided to go Picasso on a white tablecloth. Don’t want to use bleach.

Let him finish, then keep it until he gets married and give it as a wedding gift.

That's actually not a terrible idea. I was going to suggest burning it.

its called permanent ink for a reason, even if you can get it out it will still show the writing as a shadow stain.

anything that will remove the stain will also remove the dye from the table cloth and most likely eat the stitching.

as mentioned, give it back to him as a wedding gift with a note saying his kids will do something like this to him one day

I have my own picasso, hand santizer or rubbing alcohol. I'd put something absorbent underneath and drip alcohol on it and dab dab dab until it comes out. Or use a toothbrush to scrub if really stubborn. The last method is what I use to get out wash and dried sharpie names. Takes time but it works.

For future reference, vinegar dissolves slime, hairspray/alcohol removes ballpoint ink, and goo gone takes care of crayon.

Isopropyl alcohol dissolves sharpie ink. Might take awhile to get it all though.
