Get some mosquito spray with DEET.
Use a soft cloth and wipe them clean.

buy replacements is the only real choice
if you sand and refinish your lens then you will constantly be redoing every few months when it fades again

UV protector helps. But for the $15 the kit coats, I don't mind redoing it every once and a while vs buying new headlights. It takes 10 minutes.

Toothpaste and a green scrub pad

Went by today and his Escalade still looked good. Pretty certain I'm not dreaming since there was five of us joking that at least he could still buy new ones. Guy laughed back saying maybe his son in law would since it was his idea.

Acetone on an old towel and start scrubbing. You'll have to use a fair amount of pressure, but it works. Not sure how long it will last.

om my truck it takes less then 10 minutes to replace the whole light assembly and they only cost $38 each
new replacements will last about 5 yrs before they start getting dull, but to each his own, whatever yoiu feel is best for you

It absolutely works and if it is really bad use it and then some high grain wet sandpaper with hot soapy water

A dual action polisher with a high-cut pad and high-cut compound will help. I worked with a detailer buddy of mine back in the day and this usually worked. The harder buildup would require a wet sanding.
But as someone else said, easier to just replace the entire housing. Save yourself the headache.

Had to replace mine as the fogginess was on the inside of the housing.

Watched a Mexican guy do this last week in the parking lot of his restaurant.

My truck lenses were in bad shape. They still look good months later. I may have to touch them up before long, but it sure as hell works.
I used an old tee shirt and wiped them horizontially a couple of times. The DEET I used was 40%.

THE best way I know of it to polish them at the first sign of yellowing and stay on top of them. Aftermarket replacements are shite in my experience.
I use rubbing compound, etc and elbow grease, do it about monthly.

I just ordered new headlights for my 06 Silverado since they are fogged up on the inside and can't be cleaned.
Cost me $85 from Parts Geek with free shipping.

WD-40 works too, but it doesn't last.
