I have a 3 burner weber spirit grill and 2 of the three burners will not light. The far left burner with the ignition comes on, but the next two do not when I turn them on, but I smell gas...does anyone know what the issue could be? TIA

I have the same issue with my 2 burner. since it still works i just use a stick lighter to light the right burner.

the issue is the back burner on mine is clogged. would need to clean out every slot or buy a new one.

It is still under warranty, right? I'd contact them. They were really easy to deal with when I got replacement heatshields/flavorizers.

Probably should have mentioned, but I did this to no avail. Guess I might try going at each burner hole w a toothpick

I have to light both manually. Igniter clicks all day long, but no luck...

Try to light with kitchen lighter. Every gas grill i have owned eventually has this problem where igniter stops throwing a spark. It's nbd - the grill will light with any source of flame if gas is flowing

I had a bad regulator with my 3 burner Weber. It wouldn't do it every time but often when it would light, it was a very low flame and wouldn't turn up any higher. I would unscrew the bottle then reattach. After a couple tries, it would work normally. I called them and they sent out a new regulator. It's good to have the grill registered on their website.

The older ones had a crossover tube that would carry the flame from burner to burner. Some of the newer ones have a spark gap for each burner.

Take the grill and flavorizer bars off and see what is happening. Even more fun if you do it at night.

Mine does the same thing. Turn on the burners and shut the lid for about 5-10 seconds, then hit the ignition switch. Woosh.

Also works in my experience if you light the left burner then turn the other two and close the lid, they will ignite on their own shortly.

Along left side there is small tube between each larger burner tube. It always gas to come from larger tube to front burner in order to carry the flame to each burner. Ignition only works on front burner. Those smaller tubes tend to get clogged with age.
