Recommendations for an installer in the St Tammany area?

Ask your neighbors who they used. Here’s a list of Approved Water Well Contractors. Whoever you select, make sure they are on this list.

And some FAQs:

You can also access www.SONRIS.com GIS page. Select Water Well layer. Select one of the base maps to find your area. Then use the information selection to select wells in your area and you can find the driller.
It’s good to use someone with local knowledge.

The geologist here (a name like Rocklicker) gave some sound advice. SONRIS GIS will provide plenty of information on water wells in the area and who installed them. The LDNR is also really helpful if you call - they have a directory on their website which should allow you to get in the right division to ask for help using SONRIS GIS. They also keep water well files for each well (to get additional details), but I don’t think St. Tammany is available online yet.

I am in a similar position and everyone I’ve spoken to has recommended Ground Source.

Thanks for posting this. I’m trying to get an agricultural well drilled in Lafourche parish and have no idea where to turn.

No recommendations for well installers, but for after, I have some info.
I bought a place in Folsom with an existing well. I had a guy replace the submersible pump/motor for me and he gave me a great price.

I bought the pressure tank system myself and put in a temporary installation on my own.
After watching a ton of videos and reading a bunch of forums, I went with the Amtrol Well-X-Troll. They seem to be the tank everything is measured against.
Aquascience.net had the best price I could find. They have really good customer service too, they walked me through everything I needed.

Thanks for links/info. Didn't think it would be this much time consuming to research and select a installer.

Someone I know mentioned a free flowing well. Anyone familiar with them or have one?
