Washing machine has bit the dust. Its stacked underneath our dryer. Does anyone know if lowe’s home depot are doing installation? Don’t think me and the wife alone can handle it alone due to weight and lack of a dolly or proper tools.

UPDATE: After being told on the phone that Lowe's would come inside and install and haul away, the delivery guys refused to come in to the house. We had the back laundry separated from the house with a plastic sheet so all they had to do was take one step into the back door.

So back to square one. Any one know of any appliance stores that will install and haul away in the NOLA area during this Corona/Covid stuff? Thanks in advance.

If you buy from them they will install it for about 15 dollars plus the install kit.

Gotcha. Guess you could add it to your cart and see what their schedule says right before checkout.

Yes that was corona related. Update: finally got through to lowe’s. They said they will still handle installation as normal. $30 to install and haul away.

are you a woman or something? a washer is literally 2 screw on connections, a drain that hangs in the wall, and a plug.

He said he doesn't have a dolly and $30 doesn't sound bad. It includes haul off.

yes, so drag the other one out on an old blanket and then drag the new one in. or go to harbor freight and buy a dolly.
