0We are working on a patio build right now that calls for 3 timber truss systems that span 30'. Does anyone know of anyone in the state that makes them? I have only seen SCI out of Bossier but I can't get a response from them on pricing.
Does anyone have any buying experience with them? Trying to get a ballpark estimate.

on 12/16/20 at 9:05 am to Drunken CrawfishFor my house I had a truss system over my garage for my bonus room. It was ordered through Stine’s and came with the engineering paperwork to support it. I don’t recall who it actually came from, but I’d imagine a local lumber yard could get a few quotes for you and delivery.
My garage is basically 25’x30’. 25’ truss length at 16” C-C spacing, it was about $5k for the system in 2018.

on 12/16/20 at 9:08 am to Drunken CrawfishMoat local lumber stores should be able to custom order the engineered beams. We had several in our recent home build. They all came from Stines. They are actually manufactured in Boyce, LA by Boise Cascade.

I am located in Alexandria as well. I didn't realize that Boise filled custom orders. I'll have to run by Stines this week to see what they can do.

Martin might actually cut to length for Stines but I don’t actually know how all that works. My builder, Brian Malone deals with Hardy Pippen at Stines. Hardy did all the figuring and measuring... I just paid the bills

Clear spam 30 feet? Find a dude on Facebook with a portable saw mill tell him what you need if it’s outdoor you can build with green lumber that will save you thousands of dollars
