Walked in to my breaker being tripped again. So back on this troubleshooting. AFCI wouldn't reset, disconnected outlet #2 and think I have ruled that out.

While working that I plan to install some gutter shelves.

Finally finish the laundry room. Spray on one more coat of paint on the cabinet doors. Probably just buy some shelving to go between the w/d. Finish door casings. Small stuff like door hardware.

Nice!

Automobile weekend for me.

Gotta take my wifes car to have her oil changed and tires rotated, then I'll come home and wash them in and out real well. Then we have first football games for our highschool cheerleading daughter(no pics) and our peewee football son.

Probably come up with some odds and ends jobs to do Sunday.

Lawn renovation. Putting down Simple Lawn Solutions chemical aerator, kelp soil improver, and a 12-4-8 liquid fert, then Tenacity. About 5,000 sf2. Getting ready to overseed the shite out of it next month.

Would be nice if you built a drop down table top to fold crap up. Very easy to build one that folds out the way.

Weekend plans are to finish up the door I am building.

Well my wife wants me to put in a wall mounted ironing board. I'm the only one that uses an iron and it's pretty much out 24/7 in our room and after years of it i'm sure she's annoyed. Maybe i'll do a table instead.

Wall mount iron board would work too!

I my guest house, washer dryer is in the bathroom. Just across from it, I built a cabinet that has a pull out table to fold crap.

Using my carefully drawn out schematic

I believe I have found the section of wiring.

The good news is after disconnecting this link I only lose one outlet and the rest of the circuit powers on fine. So about 8' of demo and rerunning the wiring should resolve the issue. Will probably have to wait a few days before it is complete.

Bet there is a sheetrock screw or nail that cut your wire. Happens all the time.

New hardie board siding was installed. I am leaning that way right now, but at this point it could be a number of things. Just glad it appears to be a pretty straight stretch that will need to be replace.

OH yea I see now. that's a solid idea too. At a place to sit and figure out the next step at least. Need to add a door to under the stairs too, but don't have time right now to deal with it with baby # 2 coming next week. Plan was to just update and make functional the laundry room. Done.

Ugh... exterior wall it looks like. Was gonna say you could just run it up the wall into the attic and over or down and into the crawl space and not have to tear up the wall.

But that may be extremely hard with it being an exterior wall and trying to get a drill in a tight spot.

Im thinking, with this heat, I would rather bust the wall and rebuild than climb in an attic or crawlspace.

On hardie and nail, hardi calls for 2” nails. For my shed I used 1.25” ring shank roofing nails. You can’t pull them out without destroying the board you just installed. Doing the hardie on my new house and think I will go with the 1.25” nails.

I installed a piece on a wall with just osb to test and pull it off and it pulled the nail heads straight through the hardie.

Thoughts?

Shelves done. Figure I'll try to get all the curtain rods hung in the house, maybe try to take on a few other odds and ends that come up.
