Should we pollinate the flowers our self if we don’t see a lot of bees? Is it good if all of the vegetables don’t pollinate and grow , to make the ones that grow healthier?

Peppers, eggplant, tomatoes etc are all self pollinating veggies so no you will not need to on everything. Just read up to see about the ones your growing

I've never had to hand pollinate Cucumbers. The only ones I've really had to do are Spaghetti Squash, Butternut Squash and I believe Watermelon

Need some bug advice fellas. What do I need to spray with? Should I be concerned?

Looks like whiteflies and aphids. Hit em with some neem oil and soap. You can apply that once a week and it’ll keep them in check.

Depending on what you buy the mix rate could vary. I use Neem Bliss ( amazon). It’s 1oz per gallon with 2 tsp of dish soap as an emulsifier. I use castile soap.

You could just hit them with some soapy water for now and that’ll help.

As Pillage said. Soapy water will kill them and neem oil will deter them.

No, thank you. Your post made me go check and sure enough, had a few aphids starting to collect and attack some leaves on my bell peppers as well. Just gave them a neem oil and dish soap bath

It is completely ridiculous that we should have to start doing this b.s. already.

For real. I looked in on everything yesterday and didn’t see any. I’ll have to check again this afternoon. Might have to spray tomorrow after the rain.

Man, I've seen plenty of videos of people catching swarms and doing similar things. But not without a suit!

"Oh shite, they're pissed!"

ETA: Interesting fact, you can see a bunch of them at the entrance fanning with their butts in the air. That's called Nasonov fanning. They're releasing a pheromone to guide all of the other bees. If you go back to my post on the package install, you can see a couple of them doing it at the entrance. There's a light color near the tip of their abdomen. That's the Nasonov gland.

Yeah it was pretty neat watching them almost immediately start following each other into the opening.

Had similar wrinkled leaves on all my peppers. Noticed the bastards under the leaves and blasted with Neem and some Dawn and looks like it's slowly improving.
