I have termite coverage, but what is the real risk in a brick house? I know I still have the framing/etc... Just curious.

Well, your sills and joists will sag and cause major cracks in The drywall. Bricks are just a dressing. The structure of your house is still wood.

Have you read what it actually does and doesn't cover? You might be surprised.

Many/ most termite coverage doesn’t cover Formosan which are the worse. So be careful. Yes, brick is actually one of the worst to get termites because it’s hardest to work on from the outside.

I should have specified. I have termite treatment. Besides terminex, I don't think very many offer complete coverage. From a family friend experience, you better be ready to go to court to get terminex to cover.

When you say a brick house, you mean brick veneer or solid brick walls?

I just found out I have termite damage and I have Terminix.

They’ve already fricked up the simple act of getting here to inspect it and tell me where I go from here. I have zero hope of them actually covering it and I actually ordered Boracare and two huge things of Taurus SC this morning in anticipation that I’m going to be on my own with it.

If they do indeed turn me down I’m cancelling my coverage with them.

Good luck to you.
