Stamped Concrete vs Pavers for 500 sq FT area

Asking around almost everyone seems to suggest pavers are the better "solution". Our previous home we inherited a patio made of pavers and we had some issues especially with weed growth between the joints. You basically need to clean out the joints and re-sand every few years.
Pressure washing was not ideal either unless you were planning to reapply sand and seal.
Everyone says the downside of stamped concrete is it can crack and needs to be sealed (not sure if sealing is any or more beneficial than pavers).
I have owned houses with standard concrete patios and never had to do anything besides pressure washing occasionally in the past.
TL;DR
Which one would you use and why? I am leaning stamped concrete.

stamped and stained will fade if in the sun
pavers are the way to go imo. you could also do concrete with very light integral color and score it to look like pavers.
not sure what look you are going for

That would be my plan. Basically concrete that looks like pavers.

It never will look like pavers but if done properly, which is a big if, stamped & stained can look good. The trick is finding a craftsman rather than someone that has taken a course and owns the stamping mats.

we did a very slight blue/gray stain for a client that wanted blue stone but couldn't afford it.
Did the integral mix and then scored in a 1x1 diamond pattern. it looked really really good

I have seen both and both can look good.
The real question for me is the stamped concrete route less maintenance than the pavers?

Integral mix is going to be less work long term. it really depends on the stain. over time it fades but you wont have the settling and weed growth

concrete, score yourself with circular saw and straight edge
put whatever pattern you want and stain it yourself
