Recommendation for gas fireplace hookup/repair - New Orleans...

We just bought a house with a gas fireplace. Seems as if the gas is capped right inside the fireplace, but we would like to hook it back up. Does someone have a recommendation for someone who can service/hookup a gas fireplace in New Orleans?
Thanks in advance

I had a similar issue. I used a guy from A Chimney Sweep. Came out, took a look and basically told me not to mess with trying to get gas line to work and just use it as a wood burning fireplace. But the gas line had been capped a long time ago.
So anyway moral of the story is a fireplace can work without gas.

I have a gas fireplace and someone recommended Bourgeois plumbing to me. They looked at it for an hour or two and then just told me "I don't know what to do with it". Don't call them.
