Anyone have any leads on where I could get about 30 railroad ties? Got a garden project coming up and need a ton. TIA

I think you can actually buy them at some tractor supplies.

If you need that many, go to Bob’s Tie Yard in Memphis.

CN replaced a slew of ties on their tracks from Baton Rouge eastward. They stacked the old ones in piles along the way. I don't know if they are up for grabs or not.

You should be able to purchase them for $25 each or so at any local lumber yard.

there’s huge piles of them on Westport road in port Allen heading towards 415. I do not know what the deal is (whether you can grab them) but I’ve been eyeballing them myself. They’ve been there a long time
